OK, I need some help. I want to a do a video on "What we say vs. what they hear." If you can think of one or two, drop them in the comments. Example: What we say: "I wish the USA would enforce immigration law and shut down sanctuary cities." What they hear: "You hate immigrants!!!"
Let 'em rip!
P.S. If you don't want to leave a public comment, you email it.

OK, bear with me. Folks, I don't have any answers. I wish I did. All day today I've been reading tweets, messages, emails, comments, etc. at various platforms I use for this. I'm getting articles and quotes from Trump that allude to gun control. Then articles and quotes from the GOP saying nah. I just don't know.
People have even asked me what I think about the conspiracy theories around the shooting - I don't think about them, sorry - and what I think the Las Vegas shooter's motive was. Folks, I have no idea. Right now, we need to be patient. Instant gratification isn't a thing in an investigation, and I'd rather they take a while to get it right than have them jump to conclusions that are wrong. And since I don't have access to evidence and wasn't there and didn't know the guy, venturing a guess would be irresponsible at best.
On the gun control bit, which seems to be what people are asking me the most. I can say this:
Folks, I wish I had a crystal ball and could tell you what is coming. All I can offer is what I assume. My advice? Stay calm. Write your reps. I've been tweeting at the president and my reps all day (my internet was down for 12 hours, so I only had access to Twitter on my phone, not email in a writing capacity). By the way, Trump reads at least most of his tweets. A few months ago I got into a back and forth with him. So yes, he does read them, at least some/most of them. If you tweet, do it every few hours. Don't one and done your tweets.
Remember when these gun grabbers attack the NRA that the NRA is American citizens. It's us. I'm the NRA. This big, scary "gun lobby" that apparently has a choke hold on the GOP is us. The gun grabbers want them to squash us and go against what we want for our own freedoms. Remind your gun grabber reps about that, too. Let them know you understand what they are actually saying when they blame the NRA.
Stay calm. Stay safe. Stay skeptical. I'll try to respond to everyone who contacts me as best as I can. But I might not have answers for you. When I learn things, I'll pass them on to you, I promise. That's what I'm here for.
