Unpopular opinion time. With the recent snow fall here on the US east coast, the battle has started again... who drives better in the snow, northerners or southerners?
As a northerner living in the south, my unpopular opinion is neither. None of you drive well in the snow. Everyone thinks they are better at it than everyone else, but the truth is you all suck at it for different reasons.
1. Southerners don't have to do it as often.
2. Northerners are used to well salted and plowed roads, which you don't get in the south because this happens so little it doesn't make sense to invest in the stuff to handle it better.
Either way, once it snows, everyone wants to prove they are better, and at least half of those people end up in the ditch.
