Welcome to the page! I'm glad you decided to check us out, and I'm glad you want to know some more about the page and the writer.
To the basics:
At the current time, there is one author. My name is Erin, and I am a political misfit. The conservatives think I'm liberal, the liberals think I'm conservative, and the libertarians are too busy arguing with each other to care.
I will be up front with you: this page has an obviously right slant. I won't hide it and I'm not ashamed of it. I do, however, strongly recommend also reading blogs with an obviously left slant as well. Be aware, however, that this will not be a right wing haven, either. I have right wing ideals and left wing ideals, and I won't hide any of them.
What you will find here will contain articles and opinions of a right lean, although I am admittedly not a member of the far right. Someone once called me a "Conservatarian," so we'll run with that.
This is mostly an opinion page. While there are links to real articles and there is news here, a lot of my personal commentary is my opinion alone.
There will be no trigger warnings. You read this page at your own risk.
Have some fun. Don't take anything too seriously. I value your opinion, but we're not going to change each other's minds. Just remember that.
There will be no foul language used in written posts on this blog. However, be aware that there may be use of some foul language in the video section. It won't be heavy use, but there will be some.

About Submitting
We do accept submissions of articles, but we ask that you accept that no compensation will be awarded for those submissions. We will, of course, give you credit and a link back to your own page if you supply one. We do request that no foul language or slurs be used, and you agree to me editing the piece if needed (no ideas will be changed, I edit for grammar and spelling only for the most part). We do not accept articles about which race is greater than any other, anything anti-semetic, death threats, etc. You will be told if your article will be used or not and why if it was declined.
We do accept submissions from people with a left lean, so feel free to submit if you want to counter something.
This goes for both sides: if you are going to counter something, emotion is not a valid argument. You can give personal stories and tell us about your emotions if you want, but your emotions are not a counter argument in themselves. We also will not reprint articles written around a common regurgitated talking point. We've already heard it, give us something else to consider.
But if you are on the left and want to say something or counter something, please feel free. Folks on the right can do the same, because not everything I will post here will be agreeable to the right, either. We strongly encourage everyone to read both sides of every story and consider all your options before settling on one.
