Oh, this has been fun. While the page here hasn't been as active due to me being in law school, I am still posting news at our Facebook page. This has led to some serious insanity, and our page isn't the only one going back and forth. For those who don't know, Eastwood backed Bloomberg in an interview with Wall Street Journal. A lot of people immediately started screaming fake news, even though every news outlet from the biggest to the smallest posted a story about it. Some people on our Facebook page actually got angry with me, I had messages sent, and some people even left the page, because how dare I. And it is tough to believe. This is a big change for Eastwood, who has always been a big supporter of the second amendment, to back a candidate who not only supports the complete destruction of the second amendment, but aims to micromanage the lives of every American from the minute they wake up through when they are asleep. Bloomberg is possibly the closest thing to a dictator I've seen in the USA since my birth, and people are actually supporting him. For people speaking publicly, Bloomberg has already admitted to wanting to pay people to show public support of him, he's admitted to paying off "influencers," and Twitter has suspended 70+ pro-Bloomberg accounts for "platform manipulation." This leads me to believe that Eastwood needs the money. I doubt he is doing this for free. Anyway, there was a lite break this morning that Eastwood claimed he didn't support Bloomberg. That was also fake! Check this out: This was posted on little cared about social media platform Parler. And it isn't a lie. The guy who runs that account is pro-Trump and doesn't support Bloomberg. It's just that the owner isn't Clint Eastwood, either.
So, drama aside for now. Clint Eastwood backed Bloomberg - for whatever reason - in a Wall Street Journal interview. You can assume why. It could be money. Could be more innocent. My dad, as an example, was a Reagan Conservative his entire life. After getting brain cancer he became a Bernie Sanders supporter. Do with that what you will. Anyway, celebrities are entitled to support whoever they want, just like the rest of us, even if the support is most likely bought. It's Bloomberg, with everything going on with him, if I hear anyone say they support Bloomberg I assume they are getting a check. Eastwood will most likely show up in an ad or at a campaign rally to tell us all we need to support him while Bloomberg lets the ink on the check dry. Now, back to reality and things that affect our lives.
