I wonder for how long it will last?
Dick's Sporting Good announced that it will stop selling AR-15s. Again. Last time it was Sandy Hook.
Will they do it for good this time?
The last time they decided to stop selling them, it didn't last a full year. They opened up Field & Stream, who carried AR-15s. Over priced ones, but still, they had them.
They can do what they want, it's their store, and they have a right to sell whatever they want or not to sell whatever they want. I'm just curious to see how long it lasts this time, because it didn't take long last time.
And I haven't been in a Dick's in about two years, but the last time I was there they had an AR-15 in their very tiny hunting section. Their staff didn't know a damn thing about it, of course, but that's par for the course. I'm not sure why people buy guns there... they are way over priced and the staff doesn't know anything about them. Even buying ammo there is a real chore. Anyway, that's all. Just wanted to point out this isn't the first time, and it didn't work out so well for them then. Support your local mom and pop gun store. The prices are better, the service is usually way better, they actually know what they are talking about, and most of them won't take guns off the shelf to virtue signal. Plus, every time you go in it is usually the same people, and if you go in enough you become a friend.
